COMMUNITY SPIRIT

On October 12, at 2pm. the Final Destination motorocycle club arrived at Hines Middle School to drop off school supplies that they had collected for Hines Middle School.  Members were greeted by Dr Felicia Dyke, principal, and students from Hines.  Members of the group include Clayton Dedmon, Club President and husband of Hines staff member.

 

Students were also greeted by club mascot, Foxy, as well as various members. 

 

Supplies were eagerly greeted by Mrs. Wendi James, 8th grade Assistant Principal, Mrs. Yolanda Oliver, 8th grade Counselor, Ms. Beverly Williams, Hines Social Worker and Ms. Autem Clay and her 8th grade students. Students prepared a banner to greet the club members and eagerly received the supplies to be distributed to their schoolmates in need.  Club members donated spiral notebooks, packs of loose leaf paper, pencils, ink pens, folders, binders, composition notebooks, crayons, color pencils, rulers, index cards, and packs of erasers.  Mrs. Oliver even tried one of the motorcycles out for size! 

 

Students, faculty and club members- including the club mascot- posed for a picture to be placed in the Hines yearbook.  The generosity of the Final Destination club will be remembered by Hines students, especially those who accept the donated supplies.
