PTA REFLECTIONS CONTEST

How many of you like to draw, take pictures, write music, create videos, write stories, choreograph your own dances? Wouldn’t it be great to be recognized for your talents? All you have to do is participate in this year’s Reflections’ contest. You could win great cash prizes! The theme this year is “Together We Can”. The deadline is quickly approaching- October 26th. Think about what “The Magic of a Moment” means to you. Then create an original piece of artwork in one of these six categories:

Make sure you turn in your entries with an official entry form and that you read and follow the guidelines for the category you enter. If you don’t follow the rules you can be disqualified. I’d hate to see that happen because you didn’t bother to look at the rules.

The National PTA is also searching for a new theme for the 2013 Reflections’ program. We would like to see our Spartans’ best ideas. Put on your thinking caps and tell us what you’d like to see for a Reflections theme. This years theme is “The Magic of a Moment.” Last years was, “Together We Can…” Maybe your idea could be the next theme? The top three Hines ideas will be chosen to move on to the state level. If the National PTA chooses one of your ideas as the winner, you will receive $100.00 and have your theme used in every school across the country in 2012.

Your “Reflections” entries must be turned in with an official entry form no later than October 26th. Both the entry forms and guidelines are available in the front office & on our website. There is a box for all entries in the front office. Go for it Hines Spartans! The only catch is… You have to enter to win!!
